What is The Explorer?

The Explorer by Moncler x adidas Originals is a limited-edition artistic exploration of the Moncler x adidas Originals NMD boot. The Explorer is a digital product, authenticated by the blockchain as a digital token (NFT).

What is a digital product?

A digital product, also known as a digital token or NFT, is a digital asset used to represent ownership of unique items and/or access in the digital realm. Most commonly they are digital collectibles, but can also be access passes, tickets, or digital fashion wearable items. Ownership and transfer of a digital product is secured by a blockchain.

What is a blockchain?

A blockchain, such as Ethereum, is equivalent to the next evolution of a database. Think of a blockchain like a huge spreadsheed that is shared and validated across millions of computers worldwide. Within this spreadsheet is a record of ownership and transfers of digital items. Unlike a database, where any administrator can change a record, blockchains are considered secure because they are publicly visible and verifiable. Changing historical data on a blockchain would require a consensus across the majority of computers that share access to it — a task considered almost impossible.

What is a wallet?

If a blockchain is the evolution of a database, then a wallet is the evolution of a web browser. A wallet is a cryptographic application that enables the transfer and storage of cryptocurrency and other digital assets. Wallets can be browser extensions, mobile apps, hardware devices, or even stored on a piece of paper. You can use your wallet to connect to web3 applications, and to receive and send digital products and cryptocurrency.

What can I do with my Explorer?

The Explorer by Moncler x adidas Originals begins life as a digital art piece with a total supply of 3,000. As the adidas web3 journey continues, The Explorer will evolve within the adidas web 3 ecosystem.

When is The Explorer available to claim?

The Explorer is available to claim from 5 October 2023 at 10:00 EDT / 16:00 CEST / 23:00 JST, first come first served, until all items have been claimed. Please make sure you are ready to claim by setting up your adiClub account and wallet.

How can I prepare for the drop?

To best prepare to claim your Explorer, please create an adiClub account (and if possible, connect it to your CONFIRMED account in app). Please also ensure that you have set up an Ethereum wallet such as Metamask on your computer or mobile device.

What do I need to do in CONFIRMED?

To enter to claim via CONFIRMED, make sure you have set up an adiClub account and connected your Ethereum wallet in app. At launch time, you will be able to proceed through the claim process. Please note, if you enter without a connected wallet address and do not enter one within 12 hours of your entry, your claim will be deleted and made available for others to claim.

Am I eligible to claim? Are there any restrictions?

There are four requirements to claim The Explorer:

1. 1. You must be an adiClub member
2. 2. You must not have already claimed an Explorer, whether in the same wallet or a different wallet
3. 3. You must not have been holding an ALTS by adidas (DRIPS) NFT on 28 September at 15:00 CEST (as you received your Explorer automatically, without needing to claim)
4. 4. You are not a sanctioned person or habitually resident or physically present in a sanctioned country, according to the sanctions lists of the United Nations, the European Union, the United States of America, or the Federal Republic of Germany

Where do I claim?

On or after the launch time, you can claim your Explorer from this website (collect.adidas.com/moncler). After all Explorers have been claimed, it will no longer be possible to sign up, except in cases where entrants are disqualified for multiple entries and the supply is made available again.

How many Explorers are available in total?

There are 3,000 Explorers available in total. 1,929 are available for adiClub members via CONFIRMED; 400 are reserved for adiClub members in regions where CONFIRMED is not available; 551 have been automatically airdropped to ALTS by adidas (DRIPS) holders; 25 will be distributed to the Moncler community; and 95 will be distributed to adidas partners.

How many Explorers can I claim?

Maximum one digital product can be claimed per wallet/person. Detection mechanisms are in place to prevent multiple claims from the same person using different wallet addresses. If you submit a duplicate claim or use multiple wallets or devices to claim multiple times, adidas reserves the right to cancel all your claims and make your spaces available for other people to claim.

For how long is The Explorer available to claim?

This depends on when The Explorer sells out. We recommend that you prepare ahead of the drop, so that when the claim opens, you can move quickly and submit your claim.

When will I receive my Explorer?

After the claim event closes, there will be verification process of around 2 days. You can expect to receive your Explorer around 2-3 days after the claim event closes.

Is The Explorer transferable?

Yes. The Explorer is a freely-tradable ERC-721 NFT.

Is The Explorer available in different sizes?

The Explorer is a digital product in one size. Future web3 and digital fashion compatibility may require sizing or rigging of the digital product, and such functionality will be described nearer to any relevant future drop.

Does the Explorer give early access to the Moncler x adidas Originals collection?

Holding an Explorer is not a prerequisite for early access to shop the collection. Early access to shop the physical Moncler x adidas Originals collection will be available to adidas and Moncler communities via various mechanisms, with details being announced shortly.

I'm a Moncler customer. How do I claim?

An allocation of Explorers has been set aside for some Moncler customers. Moncler customers who are not on this list are welcome to claim through this website, using their Moncler wallet or a different Ethereum-compatible wallet. Please do not claim more than once, whether with the same wallet or different wallets, as duplicate claims will be detected and deleted.

I have an ALTS by adidas (DRIPS) NFT. What do I need to do to claim?

Nothing! If you are an ALTS by adidas (DRIPS) holder, you need take no action as The Explorer has already been airdropped to your wallet automatically. Should you enter manually, you will not receive an additional Explorer. The wallet that held the ALTS by adidas (DRIPS) NFT as of block 18234388 (14:59:59 CEST on 28 September 2023) received The Explorer in transaction 0x2bfe5e52096dfc674bb7b6374b2da125140aa9e437c094a9bd31a78248e7fdd9. Please note, this only applies to ALTS with the DRIPS ALT[er] Ego. Other ALTS by adidas NFT holder did not receive the automatic airdrop, but can still register for the first-come-first-served allocation.

When was the ALTS by adidas (DRIPS) snapshot taken?

The ALTS by adidas (DRIPS) snapshot was taken at block 18234388 (14:59:59 CEST on 28 September 2023). If you held an ALTS by adidas (DRIPS) NFT in this block, you have already received The Explorer.
