CHAPTER 3 - CLAIM YOUR CLOTHING TRAIT
Chapter 3 has arrived! This is the moment to claim your new clothing trait for your upcoming ‘ALTS by adidas’ avatar.
We have created a new exclusive collection of digital clothing for every ALT[er] EGO to represent themselves in their own and unique way.
In this third and final Chapter of the storyline, the ‘ALTS by adidas’ holders will be able to claim their new clothing trait, which for now will be showcased as metadata only. The clothing will be visible upon reveal.
There will be 4 levels of rarity linked to the clothing category, in the following order:
- Common
- Novel
- Rare
- Epic
Login in to your profile, select your ALTS NFT and start claiming your new trait as Chapter 3 will be closed on November 6th 12PM CET.
RARITY BENEFITS FOR LONG-TERM HOLDERS & REROLL OWNERS
To reward our most loyal ‘ALTS by adidas’ holders in our journey so far, we are providing a higher chance to grab one of the rarer clothing items from the collection.
The conditions are based on the following loyalty milestones:
- Users who were part of the adidas Virtual Gear snapshot on December 4th 2022 (snapshot details in FAQs below)
- Users who burned their Into the Metaverse (ITM) Phase 2 to the ALTS by adidas Collection from September 18th 2023 onwards and have been holding on to this NFT since then (snapshot details in FAQs below)
- Users who were part of the Vending Machine snapshot during Chapter 2 (snapshot details in FAQs below)
Besides of having an organically higher chance when claiming manually during Chapter 3, the chances are even more increased when users have a reroll or are meeting multiple of these loyalty milestones, see the overview below:
Group 1 (3x chance):
- Users who own an ALTS NFT including a reroll Trait
- User who is meeting the conditions of all 3 loyalty milestones.
Group 2 (2x chance):
- User who is meeting the conditions of 2 out of 3 loyalty milestones.
Group 3 (1.5x chance):
- User who is meeting the conditions of 1 out of 3 loyalty milestones.
UPDATE FOR REROLL OWNERS
Important update for all reroll owners: We’ve made some improvements to enhance the quality of your avatar experience.
After careful consideration, we’ve decided to focus on delivering the highest quality PFPs, which has led to an adjustment in the reroll mechanic post-avatar reveal. While the ability to change traits after the full collection reveal is no longer possible, we believe this change ensures the integrity and value of each avatar.
What does this mean? The reroll remains the most powerful trait in the personalisation journey. Moving forward, your rerolls will be replaced by either a rare or epic trait, from a random trait category not yet assigned to the ALT, upon full collection reveal.
