ABOUT THE DROP
Representing a new step for adidas Originals, the launch will be the first-ever NFT auction, in partnership with MoonPay.
This 'Fresh Forum' drop presents a unique chance to own a piece of sneaker history as only 100 Access Passes (linked to 100 corresponding pairs of physical sneakers) will ever become available.
Reinforcing the innovative nature of the collaboration, this ‘Fresh Forum’ launch is supported by the adidas /// Studio (Three Stripes Studio) as a limited-edition, product-linked NFT drop. Each physical pair is also equipped with an NFC chip, placed in the left tongue, which provides the owner with access to the Digital Certificate of Authenticity.
AUCTION LIVE
The adidas Originals x BAPE ‘Fresh Forum’ Access Pass auction will start on August 22nd 4PM CET via adidas COLLECT and will be open to everyone. ALTS by adidas: SOLES ALT[er] Ego & (B)APETAVERSE NFT holders will receive exclusive benefits.
AUCTION CLOSE
The auction will last for 72 hours, and will close on August 25th 4PM CET (hard close, no extensions possible).
REDEMPTION
The 100 holders of the adidas Originals x BAPE ‘Fresh Forum’ Access Pass will be given the exclusive opportunity to freely redeem one pair of physical sneakers and a digital twin via adidas COLLECT on September 26th.
SHIPPING
The shipment of the 100 physical pairs will start in October. Please keep an eye out on the official adidas and BAPE web3 communication channels to receive the final confirmation around shipping.
